SKALKA PRI KREMNICI (28km)

Centre of Skalka is situated above historic city Kremnica. Winter season is thanks to perfect snow conditions from St. Nicolas Day until Easter.

Here is also available 120 m wide ski slope with four chair lift and artificial snowmaking.

Special In-line lane with lightening is in winter treated as a lane for cross country skiing. More than 50 km quality lanes attract recreational and demanding skiers. There takes place international long – distance cross country skiing race White Track.

MARTINSKÉ HOLE – mountain range Malej Fatry (25 km)

Skiing centre situated in Lúčanská part of mountain range Malá Fatra.

Approximate high of snow cover is near k 80 cm. There are available, except chair lift also 6 ski lifts with total transport performance 4,920 persons per hour. There are 11 ski downhill tracks with total length 12 km. For skiers there is also snowboard park available.

Skiers from Žilina surroundings can every Saturday and Sunday use Žilina ski bus. Skiers from Vrútky and Martin can use ski bus – Vrútky – Martin. This ski bus from Vrútky comes through whole centre of city Martin..

JASENSKÁ VALLEY – in mountain range Veľká Fatra (24 km)

Jasenská valley is one the best known valleys in Veľká Fatra. It is situated at Turiec part of Veľká Fatra under north mountainside of hill Lysec, 12 km south east from Martin.

Centres provide excellent skiing conditions for less and more demanding skiers. Ski downhill tracks with lights and artificial snowmaking, 7 ski lifts, one 4-chair lift, evening skiing, skiing school, ski and ski accessories rental, cross country and sledge tracks.

SNOWLAND VALČIANSKA VALLEY – in mountain range Malá Fatra (24 km)

Skiing centre has opened its first season in 2001.It is situated in lúčanská mountainside of mountain range Malá Fatra. It is 2.5 from village Valča and 14 km from Martin.

Number of downhill tracks: 2 touristic tracks and 2 racing tracks from 300 up to 1,840 m. Length of artificial snowmaking is 900 m.

KRAHULE – mountain range Kremnické hills (15 km)

Centre of downhill skiing Krahule – Grošova meadow is in mountain range Kremnické hills above village Krahule at altitude from 960 up to 1.150 m above sea.

Natural conditions provide excellent chances for downhill skiing with enough snow during whole winter season. In village Krahule is situated ski centre called "Centre of Europe".
