Trips - spa city and surroundings

Spa Park in the south part of city with total area 14 hectares. There are 2,369 trees and also in the park is situated historic lime tree alley whose trees have positive influence to bio energetic tracks of people and has healing influence to body and mind.
Forest park Bôr is situated in outer border of the National Park of Veľká Fatra. There is natural trail coming through the forest park. It starts in the centre of the city and has 11 stops. Pleasant walk lasts 3.5 hour.
Chalet near Čremošné – less demanding walk through forest park Bôr – green marks shows the route. Under village Čremošné is situated chalet where possible to taste boiled sheep whey and cheese.
Mikuláš Galanda Gallery – Natal home of famous Slovak painter, representative of modernism, permanent exposition of its works, occasional exhibitions of contemporary artists – information on tel. number.: 00421 43 492 42 70.
Roman – Catholic church of St. Michael from year 1264 and Chapel of John Nepomucene built in 1762, together with the building of the orphanage.
Cinema TURIEC – directly in Turčianske Teplice with perennial operation.

Our tip:

Restaurant "U Palatína" – cosy "garden" restaurant in the back part of spa park. There are at least twice a week organized music and dance parties, during the summer season. You can find a beautiful spa garden centre with small lakes and "golden" fish. There is possible to buy unique seedlings.

Mansions in Diviaky - renaissance and rococo style mansion from second part of the 17th and 18th century.

CLIMB TO VYŠEHRAD – stops near mineral springs Budiš and Dubové, undemanding climb to former Slavic fortified settlement on the hill Vyšehrad /829m/.

ČIČMANY + RAJECKÁ LESNÁ – tour through reservation of the folk architecture in Čičmany and world famous nativity scene.
MALÁ FATRA: TERCHOVÁ + VRÁTNA DOLINA – visit of J.Jánošík Museum and village of Terchová and one of the most beautiful valleys of Slovakia in Malá Fatra.
